Large 8 inch off-road design fender flare kit (6 pieces)
60mm of extra coverage at top of wheel arch.
Extremely east to fit, no drilling into outer guard required. Flare kits use existing holes and clips from the inner wheel arch, also new screws and clips are supplied (incase you have lost any of the original clips). The top is attached with strong 3m adhesive strip. If running the original front bumper, then the front sections of the front flare require 2 holes to be marked and drilled in the inner wheel arch. Start by fitting the back part of the front flare 1st and use it for a guide/template for the front section. They both line up with the join between front bumper and guard.
When fitting the rear flares, it you have the lower tub spoiler behind the wheels (like on the X-Terrain).
You will need to trim them back to suit the flare or vice versa pending your preference.
If fitting to X-Terrain:
Allow some time to remove the standard flares as this can become time consuming to remove and prepare the area for the new flares.
Flare kits are made from quality ABS material. They are built big and strong to help cover those large wheels with excessive poke.

STICK ON FLARES – The legalities for Australian 4WD vehicles:
Occasionally we receive inquiries about our flares such as:
- Are flares illegal?
- Can I just stick the flares on with 3M tape?
- Are the flares too wide to pass a pit inspection?
So we've done some research and found some info on the Government website “Infrastructure & Vehicle Regulations” to answer these questions accurately and provide you with the necessary documentation to supply to customers if required.

The relevant part of the document is Section 4.3.3 Mudguard Flares
Flared extensions may be added to original mudguards. There is no restriction on their
design or size, however, the new section must be securely fixed, the ends tapered
back to follow the body line of the vehicle and the exposed edges must have a radius
of at least 5mm.
So the answers to the above questions ?

Another important aspect to consider is insurance. If a stick on flare comes off while driving and causes an accident, insurance companies will be quick to use this as an excuse not to pay up.
