These sleeves thread seamlessly onto the tie rod, providing robust reinforcement that's virtually impervious to breakage or bending. Crafted from premium-grade stainless steel, they are available in both polished stainless and black e-coated finishes.
Featuring a convenient 24mm hex design for easy servicing, our sleeves eliminate the need for a standard locking nut. Simply remove the locking nut and utilize the hex on the sleeve to secure it against the tie rod end. When it comes to toe adjustments during alignment, these tie rod sleeves must be loosened.

They suit tie rods up to 15mm perfectly, but please note they will not fit over 15.6mm, so be sure to check the thickest section of your tie rods before ordering.
For added protection against moisture and debris, we recommend applying a small amount of sikaflex into the clearance gap after a wheel alignment.
For certain vehicle models prone to steering rack issues off-road, such as Izuzu D-Max/Mux (Pre 2020 models), Holden RC/RG Colorado, and Holden Rodeo, we recommend using our sleeves in conjunction with the steering rack clamp to enhance rack and tie rod strength.

Choosing between bolted and solid sleeves? Here's a breakdown:
Solid sleeves:
- Fit a larger variety of tie rods with their larger clearance hole.
- No need for a wheel alignment after installation.
- No risk of coming loose. (But require a wheel alignment after tie rod end removal.)
Bolted sleeves:
- Limited to specific tie rod sizes.
- No need for a wheel alignment before off-roading.
- Must be removed before a wheel alignment.
- Potential for loosening due to multiple bolts in high movement areas, hence recommended for off-road use only.
In summary, it boils down to tie rod diameter and preference for set-and-forget or bolt-on-as-needed style.
Additional Information:
Standard tie rods bend under less than 1T pressure, which is easily surpassed during weight shifts or impacts. Both styles of our sleeves have been rigorously tested, withstanding over 5-6t of direct pressure before bending and over 10t without snapping.
