Not sure what all the fuss is about these washer jets ?
Well there are some people don't mind the original wiper arm style,
but...
There are lots of people who hate them, and with good reason too.
Many variables to consider with the effectiveness of the original wiper arms washers,
Most find that anything more then just dust on the windscreen will smear across the windscreen,
The water to the top side of the wiper blade not only doesn't wash or rinse dirt and debris effectively, it also allows the dry sections of the wiper blade and the windscreen to be scratched and smear the debris before the water will reach where it's needed.
The bonnet mounted washer jet spreads over the whole windscreen, and can wet above and below the wiper arm effectively on the first stroke of the wiper arm, much quicker and more effective then the wiper arm washer style.
Those that have made the change notice the difference straight away.
NOTE
(If you have a bonnet mounted UHF these brackets sit lower and put pressure on the hose,alternatively stopping water flow) you will need to route the hose in a way to avoid the uhf bracket compression.)
